The library catalogue has
changed!
Why not have a look at our guide to
Using the Online Library Catalogue.
You can also click help on
the home page of the library catalogue to access
the on-screen guide.
If you have any problems with your online requests or
renewals , or for any further information please
contact your
local library.
Our new library catalogue gives readers the
choice of receiving request and overdue notices by
email. We will also be able to text readers to remind them to
renew their books before they become overdue. If you would like to
be able to benefit from these new services please update your
library record with your email address and mobile phone number.
You will need your library membership number (on your library
card under the barcode) and PIN to log in. The first
time you log in to the new online library catalogue you will
be asked to create a new 7 character password
to replace your 4 digit PIN.
Renewing items
You can use the online library catalogue to renew items online,
although this may not always be possible e.g. if another library
user has requested that particular item, if your items are already
overdue or if you have outstanding fines. If you experience any
problems renewing items online please contact any East
Dunbartonshire Library.
Requesting Items
There is a small charge for the library request service.
To check whether or not an item is in stock, please use the library
online catalogue. You will need your library membership
number (on your library card under the barcode) and PIN to log
in.
You can check whether or not an item is in stock using
- author
- title
- International Standard Book Number (ISBN).
Once you have found the item you want, please follow the
on screen instructions to place your request.
If the item you want is not in stock, please use the
Library Requests Form (pdf) (1.10Mb). You can download the
form to your computer, fill it in and send it as an attachment to
libraries@eastdunbarton.gov.uk.
Alternatively, you can print off the form, fill it in and either
post it or hand it in to your local East Dunbartonshire
library.
