The Citizens’ Panel has been functioning in
East Dunbartonshire since the turn of the new millennium.
There are approximately 1200 people on the Panel, broadly
representative of the East Dunbartonshire area in terms of gender,
ethnicity, age and locality.
Members of the Panel are asked to provide
their views on a number of issues, either through a questionnaire
or focus group. The questionnaires or focus groups usually ask for
information on the development of Council or partner agency
services, and on issues that matter to the East Dunbartonshire
Community, such as community safety or the environment. Most
recently, members of the Citizens Panel have been involved in
consultation around issues relevant to the Council’s budget.
If you require any additional information or
would like to find out how to become a member of the Citizens’
Panel, please contact the Corporate Planning and Performance Team
