Guidance Consultation 19th November 2021 - 14th January 2022
On Thursday 11th November, East Dunbartonshire Council approved 6 pieces of guidance for stakeholder consultation. Guidance supports the Local Development Plan by providing further detail and information to assist in the determination of planning applications. All 6 of the guidance notes, which are listed as follows, are revisions to existing guidance:
- Advertisement Consent
- Brownfield Land
- Design and Placemaking
- Developer Contributions
- Frontiers of the Roman Empire (FRE) (Antonine Wall) World Heritage Site
- Sustainable Transport
A summary document has been prepared which provides further information on the general purpose of guidance, sets out the relationship between each of the 6 documents with the Local Development Plan and sets out what key changes are proposed. Each individual guidance note is also available to view in full in the documents section together with accompanying Strategic Environmental Assessment Screening Determinations.
The Council is specifically seeking comments on the proposed changes, however feedback on all detailed matters will be considered. Please specify clearly in your response which guidance document(s) your comments relate to.
