East Dunbartonshire Council issues bills for Council
Tax, House and Garage Rents and Business Rates, as well as Debtor
Invoices for many other chargeable services.
Some services are payable at the time of request via
our Contact Centre or our website – these include special uplifts,
refuse bins and sacks, Building Control fees, Planning fees and
copies of Local Plans; others may be payable at the time of request
or at the point of delivery, e.g. the use of leisure facilities,
hall hires or school meals. You should contact the relevant service
or location for further information on how you can pay for
these.

There are several different ways you can pay the Council:
In Person
For Council Tax and Rent you
should always take your plastic swipe card with you and for any
other bills/charges, please take your bill or a note of your
payment reference with you.
at Council Offices -
Locations & Opening
Times
Payment can by made by cash,
cheque or debit card (we do not accept credit cards at our offices
at present). Cheques should be crossed and made payable to 'East
Dunbartonshire Council'. (Council Tax payments will be credited to
the current year's bill unless you specify a different year at the
time of making the payment).
at Post Offices - Council Tax
and Rent only
Cheques should be crossed and made
payable to 'Post Office Ltd'. You cannot pay by credit card at the
Post Office. (Council Tax payments made at a Post Office can only
be credited to the current year's bill).

Send a cheque or postal order,
