We are committed to improving our performance and being open and
transparent about how well we are doing. Public performance
reporting is a core element of our performance management
framework. Our performance reports identify areas of good
performance but also set out areas where we need to improve.
Wherever possible, we compare our performance with other Scottish
Councils.
Our 2011 Council Public Performance Report summarises our
performance in key service areas, many of which will impact on you
or your family directly. In addition to a financial summary,
the information is presented under six main headings which
reflected the Council's key objectives for 2010/11. Progress
on our revised outcomes will be outlined in the 2011/12 Public
Performance Report.
