Council agrees local priorities with Scottish Government |
| A joint signing ceremony with Fiona Hyslop, Cabinet Secretary for Education & Lifelong Learning and Councillors Rhondda Geekie and Billy Hendry signalled a new working relationship between the Council and the Scottish Government.
All three signed the Council’s first ever Single Outcome Agreement, a document which supports the new relationship as set out in the Concordat of November 2007. |

SWIA publishes positive inspection findings |
| The Social Work Inspection Agency (SWIA) has published its performance inspection report for the Council’s Social Work Services. The report highlights that the Council is committed to providing a high quality social work service. |
